This has been a remarkable campaign season. Let us celebrate the energy that flows from frustration with our governance in Washington and demands change. Let us also unite behind the candidate who can best preserve the progress we have made on health care, employment, civil rights, climate change, education, protecting consumers, foreign policy, diplomacy, Social Security, Medicare, women’s rights, equal pay, immigration and reducing the deficit.
There is so much more to be done, and Hillary Clinton is the one to do it. She understands the details of government process and possibility better than any of the candidates. She knows how to achieve positive change in a very difficult environment, and has the skill, sensitivity and strength to get it done.
The stakes could not be higher. The consequences of fear, destructive anger and division are palpable and deeply disturbing, at home and abroad. We are so fortunate to have such an experienced and thoughtful leader ready to be our President in these difficult times.
Please join us in supporting Hillary Clinton next Tuesday, March 1.

So how can we trust her? Why does she not release what she said to Goldman Saks and her emails ect. ect.
Many of us do not trust her.
Bernie is authentic and honest that has been lost in this generation. Politicians will do and say anything to get elected.
Yes Bernie has a long list of things he will do and he Does tell us how he will accomplish them.
It is time we stop allowing super pacs to pick our leaders!.

Hillary claims she will fix things like Social Security. It was Bill Clinton that used Social Security Funds to pay down the deficit and mingled Social Security with general tax revenue funds. Obama has also used Social Security funds for expenses other than retirement security for senior citizens. If we get a GOP candidate for president, Social Security will probably disappear altogether before long. In a challenge to such use, the Supreme Court ruled that now that payroll taxes are just another source of tax revenue, such use is legal. Hillary isn’t talking about how she will fix this mess! Is this just another path to privatization? What will lower income workers fall back on when they have no spare money to invest in a retirement account? How about the horror that prescription drug costs have become, especially brand name prescription drug costs that Medicare does not cover at all? Planned Parenthood and abortion rights are not the only basic issues men and women have to worry about! A few specifics from Hillary might be more convincing than her claims to being a progressive! I trust Bernie more and plan to vote for him. He is committed to raising the income level subject to the payroll tax substantially. I also totally cringe at the possibility that any one of the current GOP candidates takes over the White House.
Hillary’s legacy in the State Department should make this country blush. $6 Billion vanished under her watch; Libya is now a failed state where terrorists thrive; Syria is an unmitigated disaster; the Clinton-enabled coup in the Honduras was criminal, etc…
To all of you who signed this letter, have you read any of Hillary’s emails? Doesn’t it bother you that Hillary is/has been both for and against every issue out there at some point in time?
If you want to vote for a man of principle, vote for Bernie. If you want to vote for a woman, vote for Jill Stein.
If you want more War and Government corruption, vote for Hillary.
“She understands the details of government process and possibility better than any of the candidates.” As I stated in my Globe letter and reply to the Sara Mattes letter: “I agree she and Bill Clinton are masters and enablers of the system, one awash in money that marginally serves the people while it obscenely rewards the politicians, lobbyists, and special interests that perpetuate it.”

The Clintons benefitted enormously from their political activity. Their combined net worth is an estimated 100 million, which is generally considered the cut-off point of the wealthiest 0.1% in this country. How is it possible to earn so much money as a consequence of public service? Both Clintons charge enormous speaking fees. Hillary Clinton will not release the transcripts of her speeches to the financial industry — an industry that is contributing many millions to her campaign. Do her supporters wonder why the financial and banking industry is contributing so much to her? Do her supporters wonder why she won’t release the transcripts? Let’s see what she had to say behind closed doors.
Clinton supporters tout her accomplishments, but never cite specific examples. I’d like to know of specific legislation that Hillary Clinton sponsored that helped those in poverty and minorities, that addressed environmental issues, etc. How has she voted?

Bernie Sanders cannot do it by himself and would not be able to do it in one or even two terms. Citizens have to demand it and act. Bernie Sanders inspires people to work together and Hillary Clinton lectures people to let her do it (by continuing to work within a corrupt system). Electing Bernie Sanders would be a first small step toward empowering people and vesting control away from the demagogues of both political parties.

I admire Bernie tremendously, but I can’t see him having a tete-a-tete with foreign leaders. He hasn’t learned the poise thing or to moderate his body language. He could be more like an elephant in a china shop. Take this under advisement, Bernie, I’m really On your side.
However, Bernie would be an angel compared to Trump, who would stampede over everything. I’m betting that Trump wouldnt even want a Cabinet!
There are at least two Hillary signs on town property, one up at the center in the circle next to the sign about the election on Tuesday and the other is at the entrance to the school. It is illegal to put political signs on town property although they can be on private property. Whoever is responsible for this should remove them. If there are others around town they should also be removed.

At one time Lincoln did not allow them as it was not considered,”the Lincoln way”.
Senator Sanders has done excellent work bringing income inequality to the nation’s attention. The statistics regarding other parts of the country, not blessed with our vibrant economy, are staggering. And we can hope that Gov. Brownback’s financial disaster in Kansas helps more of us understand the folly of cutting taxes on the wealthiest and expecting economic miracles. Our candidates have done such a good job respectfully debating the issues before us.
I do not think it will be possible for the Senator to achieve his goals, however. This Congress will never enact single payer healthcare, free college education or substantial income redistribution. We must work to preserve what we have, and press for incremental improvements in a difficult environment. Secretary Clinton is the one for the job. I’m having nightmares about Senator McGovern’s run in 1972.
Let’s do what we can to return the Senate to Democratic leadership (NH’s Maggie Hassan and others), and work to amend the constitution to overturn Citizens United. The flood of dark money is terrible. Finally, we must win this presidential election. The next round of court appointments will determine the fate of countless critical issues.
