In an interactive family workshop at the Lincoln Public Library on Saturday, June 1 from 2–3 p.m., Boston-based social justice group Wee the People will explore the story of Juneteenth, the oldest commemoration of the outlawing of slavery in the United States. Through stories, craft-making, and a Jubilee teach-in, we’ll honor the joy and radical resistance of Black Americans then and now. Geared for ages 6 and older accompanied by an adult.
