LEGAL NOTICE — ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS

The Zoning Board of the Appeals of the Town of Lincoln will hold a virtual online public hearing Thursday, May 7, 2026, at 7:00 P.M to hear and to act on the following petitions under the Zoning Bylaws:

New:

  • Lovelane Special Needs Program, 40 Baker Bridge Rd., M/P 142-10-0 for renewal of a special permit for an accessory apartment.
  • John and Irene Briedis, 27 Canaan Drive, M/P 135-9-0 for renewal of a special permit for an accessory apartment.
  • Alexander Benik, 4 Storey Drive, M/P 150-3-0 for a special permit to build a shed and office space on an existing slab.
  • John and Lauren Steele, 33 Farrar Rd., M/P 174-18-0 for a variance to construct a two-story addition, front porch and two car garage.
  • Bruce MacDowell/Alison Zook, 339 South Great Rd., M/P 185-16-0 for a special permit for a change in use.
  • Robert Domnitz, for an Appeal of the Building Inspector’s Decision on 16 Mill St., M/P 115-17-0.

Legal notice: Conservation Commisson public hearing (29 Lincoln)

April 21, 2026

PUBLIC HEARING — CONSERVATION COMMISSION

The Lincoln Conservation Commission (LCC) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at 7:05PM in accordance with the MA Wetlands Protection Act and the Town of Lincoln Wetlands Protection Bylaw. This is in response to the duly filed Request for Determination of Applicability by Philip North for construction of a shed within the 100-ft Buffer Zone at 29 Lincoln Road (Parcel 143-4-0). Information on how to log onto the virtual public meeting will be included in the LCC Agenda posted on the town’s website at least 48 hours prior to the hearing. Legal notice: Tree removal hearing

April 6, 2026

TREE REMOVAL PUBLIC HEARING

On Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM at the Town Hall, 16 Lincoln Rd., a Public Hearing will be held by the Tree Warden, Deputy Tree Warden, and/or their designees to consider the removal of the below trees in the Public Right-of-Way. This meeting is consistent with the requirements of the Shade Tree Act (MGL,c.87) and Scenic Road Act.

The cutting and removal of the following trees has been made at the request of Eversource Energy. The trees have been marked with a hearing notice and are being considered for removal because they are dead, in decline, or otherwise posing a hazard to the safe and reliable operation of the Eversource Energy electrical system and the roadway. The tree is marked as to size category and type, and the complete list may be found here.

The cutting and removal of the following trees has been made at the request of the Town of Lincoln. The trees have been marked with a hearing notice and are being considered for removal because they are dead, in decline, or otherwise posing a hazard to the safe and reliable operation of the roadway. The cutting and removal of undergrowth trees has been made at the request of Eversource Energy. With abutter approval, all trees 10” or less in diameter under the wires that are growing up into the wires will be cut to the stump.

Roads involved are the following:

  • Lexington Road
  • Trapelo Road
  • South Great Road (Route 117)
  • Tower Road

Legal notice: Historic District Commission (20 Lewis, 46 Bedford)

LEGAL NOTICE — HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION

The Historic District Commission will hold a virtual online public hearing at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, to consider the following applications. Anyone wishing to be heard on these matters should be present at the designated time and place.

  • John and Bettina Dee, 46 Bedford Rd., M/P 134-6-0, for removal of a greenhouse and constructing a four-season living area.

Legal notice: Order of Notice (BSL/BN Commons Licensee Inc.)

Editor’s note: This is one of three repeated legal notices required by law. BSL/BN is the prior holder of the on-premises liquor license at The Commons in Lincoln. The dissolution will have no impact on the current liquor license holder at The Commons, nor any impact on The Commons.

ORDER OF NOTICE

WHEREAS a civil action has been commenced by BSL/BN Commons Licensee Inc. (“BSL/BN”), seeking a petition for dissolution, pursuant to G.L. c. 180, §11. Any person who has a claim against BSL/BN may present themselves to the Middlesex Superior Court, 200 Tradecenter Dr. Woburn, MA on April 21, 2026 in Courtroom 720 at 2:00 p.m. and address the Court.

We COMMAND YOU if you intend to make any defense, that on April 21or within such further time as the law allows you, to cause your written pleading to be filed in the office of the Clerk of Court named above, in said Commonwealth, and further that you defend against said action according to law if you intend any defense, and that you do and receive what the Court shall order and adjudge herein. If you do not, said action may be adjudged and orders entered in your absence.

It is ORDERED that notice of this action be given by publishing, once a week for three successive weeks, the last publication to be at least 20 days before said return date, in the Lincoln Squirrel.
