The Commons in Lincoln recently hosted broadcast journalist, news anchor, and author Ted Koppel for an interview conducted by Dr. Timothy Johnson, a Commons resident and long-time medical editor for ABC News. Koppel is best known for anchoring ABC’s “Nightline” from 1980 to 2005, and Dr. Johnson was a regular guest on the ABC’s network shows, including “Good Morning America” to help educate Americans about a variety of health care topics. “It was my pleasure to interview Ted, and I’m pleased that our residents enjoyed the discussion,” said Dr. Johnson. “Many residents at The Commons have incredible life and career experiences, and I think it’s important that we share these with each other whenever we can.”
