Lincoln women gather to honor International Women’s Day

March 8, 2017

A group of 16 Lincoln women decided to honor International Women’s Day on March 8 by getting together for lunch at Lincoln’s new woman-owned restaurant, Lincoln Kitchen. The 16 have participated in the Lincoln Marchers and the Lincoln Grannies (Grandmothers for a Brighter Future). Both of these groups are engaging in advocacy and activism on a variety of issues of both local and national concern.
