Since 2017, John Calabria has been leading walks on Lincoln conservation land to people of all ages who want to enjoy a gently paced, observation-focused exploration of nature. Free and open to all. Registration is encouraged but not required. Registered participants will receive an email reminder a week before each walk and on the day of the walk with detailed parking directions and weather updates. More information and updates will be posted on this page. Those who prefer a phone call/text reminder can request this service from the Council on Aging & Human Services by calling 781-259-8811.

The Lincoln-Sudbury Friends of Music (LSFOM) will host “An Evening of Classical Piano for Autumn” on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. in the high school’s Kirschner Auditorium featuring romantic classical pieces performed by pianist Sebastian Castillo. Tickets at the door are $5 for students and $10 for adults. All proceeds will go to the LSFOM, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting and enriching the music program at L-S by supplementing the music department budget and offering opportunities to complement and extend the music curriculum.
The Lincoln Garden Club welcomes all Lincolnites to a Zoom program on Tuesday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. Bud Sechler, Ecological Program Director of the Native Plant Trust, will discuss rare plants that can be found in the Boston suburban area, as well as the invasive plants which threaten them. There will be a Bridge the Gap fair offering information on how to get financial help for living in Lincoln sponsored by the Lincoln Foundation and the Lincoln Council on Aging and Human Services on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the Battle Road Farm Meeting House. Get help with heating costs, new appliances, home improvements, special assessments, property taxes, water bills, senior discounts and veterans’ discounts. Meet neighbors and talk to officials from the town and the Lincoln Foundation. Door prizes donated by Codman Community Farms and the Tack Room.
The Bicycle & Pedestrian Advisory Committee is hosting four virtual public forums to review the Bicycle & Pedestrian Master Plan draft and collect feedback to improve the plan. There will also be a short presentation about the master plan at the State of the Town meeting in November.
The master plan, which was drafted by BPAC in consultation with the Planning Department, the Metropolitan Area Planning Council, and other town committees and departments, aims to make Lincoln to be more safe, green and accessible for residents and visitors traveling by foot and bike.
The public forums each focus on one region of Lincoln, but the BPAC will review the overall plan at each forum and are happy to discuss any region of town at any meeting if participants desire.

The Friends of the Lincoln Library present their annual “Opera for Everyone” series on three Sundays from 2–3:30 p.m. at the library. Opera lecturer Erika Reitshamer returns to enlighten, inspire and entertain while passing along her vast knowledge of opera and opera lore to Boston’s educational institutions. Her last offering for Lincoln Library was a lecture on “It Takes Two to Duet,” just in time for Valentine’s Day on February 12, 2022.

Join us and learn from Lincoln resident Donna Macdonald, a former chef and instructor at Eataly who spent over a decade in the Piemonte region of Northern Italy. On Saturday, Nov. 12, Lincoln photographer Corey Nimmer will host a family portrait fundraiser at Flint Farm, where 100% of proceeds will be go directly to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of Lincoln and Weston, which operates the local food pantry and provides financial support to families in need.
