DESCRIPTION:The sixth annual Great Pumpkin Smash at Codman Community Farms takes place on Sunday\, Nov. 8 from 10:00am–2:00pm. Bring your jack-o’-lanterns and decorative gourds to smash and feed to the Codman Farm pigs; enjoy live music\, face painting\, and farm food (vegan and gluten free options available); take a guided tour of the farm; and learn how to start composting in your home or with a curbside collection program. Remove stickers\, candles\, and other decorations from pumpkins and leave painted pumpkins at home. Suggested donation: $1 per pumpkin. Sponsored by the farm as well as the Lincoln and Concord chapters of Mothers Out Front and the Weston Community Children’s Association.
