SUMMARY:L-S instrumental concert
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the final performance of the year of the L-S String Orchestra\, Concert Band and Symphonic Band featuring senior soloists. \nThe Concert Band will perform “The Great Locomotive Chase” by Robert W. Smith and the Symphonic Band perform “Canterbury Suite” by John Tatgenhorst. The String Orchestra will perform “Cantabile” themes from the second movement of Symphony No. 5 by Tchaikovsky/arr. Robert D. McCashin\, and then “Finale” themes from the fourth movement of Symphony No. 5 by Tchaikovsky/arr. Brian Holmes. \nThe finale will be a performance of selections from “Music from the Gladiator” by Hans Zimmer/arr. John Wasson with the combined bands and orchestra. Admission is free.  Concessions will be sold at Intermission by the Lincoln-Sudbury Friends of Music (LSFOM). This concert will also air on the Educational Channel\, Comcast 9/Verizon 32 in Sudbury and Lincoln. Viewers may also watch on the livestream via the SudburyTV website.
